Domestic

I think one of my goals of 2012 is going to be to become more domestic. Step one: attend a cooking class at a culinary institute with my mother on Friday.  Hopefully, I won’t burn anything down. Step two: learn how to knit. I know – I am pretty wild and crazy.  

The winter is really making me want to move forward with the second step of my two step process of becoming domestic. I really love large, oversized comfortable knits. And I obviously cannot afford to add anymore clothing to my closet so being able to knit additional pieces will be a dream.  I might be setting my hopes a little high (and over estimating my skill level), but hopefully by 2013 I can knit some pieces as amazing as the below…

Then again maybe I will just stick to the basics and set my hopes on a scarf or something a little less complicated :)
