December lOvE

This past weekend, me and my two friends ventured to the Camden Market. Since we had already been to Portebella Road Market we figured if you’ve seen one market you’ve seen them all.  Well, we were very wrong. Very very wrong. Camden Market is unlike anything I’ve ever been to, and I don’t know what word to use to describe it beside pure and utter wildness. There are soooo many stands selling everything your little heart could desire. My interactions with the vendors went pretty much like this…

Me: ''How much is this jacket?''

Vendor:' '30 pounds.''

Me: ''Ohhh, 15 pounds. Such a good deal!''

Vendor: ''I said 30 pounds.''

Me: ''Really, it’s 16. Okay, I’ll take it'.'

You see what I did there? Eventually the vendors would get fed up with me and give into my bargain. Now I cannot tell you what I bought because then I would spill the details of few gifts I got the family for Christmas, but I will tell you this, I did some real damage.

Now remember all that nonsense I told you about October being my favorite slash the best month. Well, I lied! December is my real favorite month. December = Christmas, happy people and my birthday. 

In the words of Erin's favorite karaoke artist (story for a later date), ''Birfdays was the worst days now we sip champagne when we're thirsty'.' And I think that quote is pretty fitting for my 21st birthday which is now just two days away. I really am not a huge birthday person like some people (cough cough Erin), but I must say I am quite excited to no longer have to whip out my fake ID. That whole pretending to be 5’7 with dark hair and blue eyes didn’t always work. Shocking, right?  

On Saturday me and my friends will be doing a pub crawl. It is dress like Shannon theme and that means there will be A LOT of flannel happening. I hope you are all as excited for December as I am!
