After wandering around American Apparel for one hour or so, I decided that I am in love with leg warmers. I think they are suuuuuuupa cute and a great way to keep warm this winter. I have a black pair that I have worn multiple times but thinking of picking up a grey, blue and maybe a bright yellow pair as well?
However, I do think can be hard to figure out when and how to wear them appropriately. I personally think they look great paired with a dress or skirt, stockings and boots. Normally I keep my leg warmers scrunched up so they just barely reach my knee caps, but I am going to start wearing them over my knee as well - think it is a bit more fashion forward and a look that I love.
PS - Today I wore a blue dress and brown boots to work, and I was pretty upset that I couldn't wear my leg warmers since my black pair doesn't match. But thennnn I remembered about my white soccer socks; you can't even tell that they are not real leg warmers :)
