I recently stumbled upon the below picture and fell in love with this style of braid.
After doing some intense google research, I discovered that the braid is called a waterfall braid and is totally on trend at the moment. It apparently is even really really easy to do. I think this braid is a great take on the French braid and will become a go to hair style for me.

It would have been easier to have done a “how to do a waterfall braid” video tutorial, but since I am not sure if my blogging skillz are ready for that yet, I instead listed the step by step process below.
1. Part your hair down the middle and take a the front section of your hair from one side and separate it into three sections
2. Braid your hair regularly two times starting with the section on the right
2. Braid your hair regularly two times starting with the section on the right
3. French braid your hair regularly two times starting with the section on the right
4. Take the section of hair that is now on the right and separate it into two and drop one section (no need to add any hair). Then take the other section that remains and braid it
5. French braid the left side as normal
6. Repeat step 4
7. Repeat step 5
8. Continue braiding until you reach the other side of your head
9. Take the remaining sections of hair and finish the braid
10. Tie the braid with an elastic hair tie

i tried it and it felt pretty good but i cant see the back of my head soo who knows :)
